We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve closed an additional $42 million in financing and are bringing on CVS Health Ventures, the venture capital arm of CVS Health, as a new investor. The round was led by Lux Capital and existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and New Enterprise Associates (NEA) also participated. The investment brings Waymark’s total capital raised to date to $87 million.

More than 1 in 5 Americans are enrolled in Medicaid programs — and yet many lack equitable access to high-quality clinical and social care. Since launching in January 2023, we’ve been working to solve this problem with our health plan and provider partners and are currently supporting over 50,000 people enrolled in Medicaid in Washington state and Virginia. This new financing will allow us to continue hiring and training a new community health workforce, expand PCP capacity, and ultimately deliver on our charter to improve access and quality of care for people receiving Medicaid.
